MANAGEMENT

The Alta Vista Foundation is administered by a manager who lives on site, and is governed by a board of trustees.

Alta Vista Executive Director, Stephanie Boyman

Stephanie Boyman has joined Alta Vista as our new Executive Director. She comes to us from San Francisco where she was the Director of Residential Services at Arden Wood. Prior to that, she worked in the Student Life department at The Principia School in St. Louis. She has also worked with Peace Haven, a CS nursing facility also in St. Louis, where she served as the Director of Outreach and Development. Additionally, Stephanie has served on the board of the The Principle Foundation - St Louis, and is a board member of another foundation that supports CS organizations. As a certified Gallup Clifton-Strengths Coach, she has enjoyed advising individuals who are navigating career interests and changes.

Stephanie and her husband Todd have spent much time in Santa Barbara over the years and are delighted to be fully engaged at Alta Vista and our local community.

Highly visible since taking over in February 2024, Stephanie can be seen touring the grounds, chatting with residents, contractors, and walking with Mia, her gregarious pup. Her innate joy and discovery of the wonders of Alta Vista are palpable to everyone who meets her.
